ABOUT ME
My formal education includes an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School and a BA in economics and political science from the University of Vermont. I also studied international business at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.

My career started at the International Monetary Fund as a research assistant. After graduate school, I became a corporate banker and then moved to international banking, managing our relationships in Asia. As the banking sector in Boston consolidated, I leveraged my knowledge of the financial sector to switch industries to fintech. First working in securitization, and then online insurance, I have held management positions in strategy, marketing, project management and product development. I enjoyed being the COO for two startups, one in edtech and the other in charity online auctions.
I live in Lexington, Massachusetts with my husband and occasionally, my grown daughter. A few of my favorite pastimes include writing small autobiographical humor pieces (a la James Thurber) and reading The Economist cover to cover every week.
